ResponderEliminarVerb - "To Be"
What does the verb "to be"? What's more, why it always begins here?
The structures with the verb "to be" used to communicate several very useful aspects such as' talking about a person "(your name, nationality, where he is, his profession, how they feel, etc..) And" describe characteristics of someone or something "(what something is, its color, from whom, etc.)..
Subject pronouns:
First, you need to know what certain words in Spanish equivalent which are called "subject pronouns" I = I, tú = you, he = he, she = she, it = it, we = we, vosotros = you ( the same word for the pronoun you) and they = they.
Exercises: To Be - translations (ICT Center .- TESIFÓN CEIP SAN), I, You, He, She, It, etc..
The verb "to be" usually accompanied by the subject pronouns in Spanish while you do not need the pronoun - "He is American" = "is American." This leads to mistakes that students seem much at first, saying phrases like "is American" or not is American "(not American) when it should be" He's not American "in English.
